It seems likely that the ‘All Time’ option in DataHub’s lineage feature is intended to show all lineage edges that have ever been recorded for a dataset. According to the <https://datahubproject.io/docs/0.14.0/generated/lineage/lineage-feature-guide|lineage feature guide>, the UI by default shows the latest version of the lineage, and the time picker can be used to filter out edges within the latest version. However, selecting time windows will not show historical lineages but will only filter the view of the latest version of the lineage. This suggests that the ‘All Time’ option would indeed encompass all recorded lineage edges without a specific default date limitation.
