Is there a clear document / page somewhere that lays out the functional ∆ between an Acryl instance and a self-hosted DataHub instance?
I’d intuit it’s largely CS folks, SLAs, operational activities, etc, but am more curious from a product perspective if there is extra functionality from Acryl
Hi <@U06JK5F86F7>, thank you for your question. I lead sales at Acryl and can share a few resources on this:
https://www.acryldata.io/|Homepage: Scroll all the way to the bottom for a basic feature matrix.
<Acryl Data Case Studies>: I’ll highlight the DPG Media one about federated governance, data mesh, and lowering their Snowflake bill.
From a product perspective, we’d love to show you all of the extra functionality in a demo. DataHub is the amazing (flexible, reliable, performant) open core of Acryl. Acryl extends the value of DataHub to accelerate enterprise rollouts and to bring in more personas outside of the data team. There are more governance, observability, data quality, and workflow automation features. Plus, what you expect from a support/consultation/SLA perspective. Our customers are quite active in our community too. Let me know if you’d like to take a look!
