<@U06TM7M40RK> Is there a feature request to hide the entities from the user search , Right now even though the user cannot view the entity information , the user can still see the entity in search
Currently, DataHub does not support hiding entities from search results based on user permissions. Users can see entities in search results even if they do not have permission to view the detailed content of those entities. This limitation has been acknowledged in various discussions and is a known issue.
According to a <Slack discussion>, the listings do not hide entities that users do not have rights to view. Additionally, a <https://forum.datahubproject.io/t/how-to-hide-search-results-for-specific-user-groups-in-datahub-views/61|forum post> confirms that hiding results from search is currently unsupported, but it is something being considered for future updates.
If you are interested in contributing to this feature or tracking its progress, you might want to check the <https://github.com/datahub-project/datahub/blob/master/docs/roadmap.md|DataHub Roadmap> or participate in discussions on the <https://forum.datahubproject.io/|DataHub forum>.
Would you like more detailed information on this topic or guidance on how to contribute to this feature request?
